Assess your child’s literacy skills, for free
Our assessments are designed to evaluate your children’s literacy skills and pave the path for their literacy success.
What we evaluate
Vocabulary: Understanding the range of words the child knows and uses.
Language Comprehension: Evaluating the child's ability to understand simple sentences, stories, and instructions.
Phonemic Awareness: Checking the child's awareness of sounds in words, such as recognizing rhymes or being able to break down a simple word into its sounds.
Letter Recognition: Determining the child's ability to identify letters, both uppercase and lowercase.
Assessments can vary on your children’s age and experience with phonics. To give parents an idea, here is a list of what we would look at:
Listening Skills: Assessing the child's ability to listen and respond to stories or instructions.
Speaking Skills: Evaluating the child's ability to communicate their thoughts and ideas.
Early Writing Skills: Checking if the child can hold a pencil and make marks on paper, the precursors to writing.

Meet Beverly And Explore Our Approach
at how fast our son caught up on his reading skills via phonics taught by Ms Beverly. Prior to meeting Ms Beverly, my son only knew some of the letter sounds and had very limited exposure to phonics. We noticed that it only took him about one month to be at the level he needed to be. He was always excited to recite the materials. We also found that the additional reading books were always sufficient for my son's reading level. You can tell that Ms Beverly is really passionate about what she does; she knows how to make the child regain focus on the reading materials and always made the time to ensure the reading and spelling lessons were a lot of fun.
